The US DOC announced the preliminary duties on imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rods from China. Accordingly; Rizhao Steel Wire Co, Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel, and Jiangsu Shagang International Trade Co (a subsidiary of Jiangsu Shagang Group) were all assigned a preliminary duty of  106.19%. Malaysia initiated antidumping investigation against rebar imports

Malaysian authorities have initiated an antidumping investigation regarding reinforcing steel bar imports from China and South Korea on September 2, 2014, following a petition filed by domestic steel producer Ann Joo Steel Berhad, according to the country’s official gazette.
