EU sets country specific quota allocations under post-safeguard regime

The European Commission has announced that it has set out the detailed country allocation of tariff quotas under the EU’s new steel trade regime. India-EFTA FTA to come into effect on October 1

The India-EFTA (European Free Trade Association) free trade agreement (FTA) will come into effect from October 1, 2025, India’s commerce minister, Piyush Goyal, said in a statement on Monday, July 21. EU to impose new quota on imports

According to media sources, the European Commission has sent a notification to the World Trade Organization, stating that the EU will impose import quotas on certain steel products, including rebar and wire rod, for a period of 150 days starting from February 2, 2019..
