Administrative review of wire rod imports from Mexico to the US initiated

The US Department of Commerce announced the initiation of an adminsitrative review of the antidumping orders on carbon and certain alloy  steel wire rod from Mexico – Deacero S.A. de C.V. on December 3rd, 2013. The period of review is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013.

Egypt terminated the safeguard investigation on rebar imports

Egyptian Chamber of Metallurgical Industries had lodged an application on behalf of some producers of steel reinforcing bars, alleging that the substantial increase in imports of steel reinforcing bars threatened to cause serious injury to the domestic industry, back in September 2012.
