Energy prices are flying high, supply chains have been disrupted, bunker oil and freight rates are up and stocks are down. It is too early to predict the overall impact of the war. While concerns regarding deliveries of cargoes originating from regions in the East have helped push prices up in the Western markets, demand is not improving, which comes as no surprise especially when we have no clue about how long this war will continue or to what extent it might spread.
