			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping (AD) duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico for the period between October 1, 2021, and September 30, 2022. Accordingly, the US DOC has determined that Mexican producers’ sales of the subject goods were made below normal value during the period of review.</p>
<p>The DOC has determined weighted-average dumping margins of 0.70 percent for Deacero and zero percent for ArcelorMittal Mexico.</p>
<p>In addition, the DOC has rescinded the review on imports of the given product for Villacero, Talleres y Aceros, and Ternium Mexico as local producers timely withdrew their request.</p>
<p>The subject merchandise is provided for in subheadings 7213.91.3000, 7213.91.3010, 7213.91.3011, 7213.91.3015, 7213.91.3020, 7213.91.3090, 7213.91.3091, 7213.91.3092, 7213.91.3093, 7213.91.4500, 7213.91.4510, 7213.91.4590, 7213.91.6000, 7213.91.6010, 7213.91.6090, 7213.99.0030, 7213.99.0031, 7213.99.0038, 7213.99.0090, 7227.20.0000, 7227.20.0010, 7227.20.0020, 7227.20.0030, 7227.20.0080, 7227.20.0090, 7227.20.0095, 7227.90.6010, 7227.90.6020, 7227.90.6030, 7227.90.6035, 7227.90.6050, 7227.90.6051, 7227.90.6053, 7227.90.6058, 7227.90.6059, 7227.90.6080, and 7227.90.6085 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our 58th IREPAS meeting held at the Swissotel The Bosphorous in Istanbul, from 6th to 8th of April 2008, along with the SteelOrbis Spring 2008 Conference was a huge success. <strong>A record high total of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">520 attendees</span></strong> registered and showed up for the meeting, and participated the committee discussions.</p>
<p>The welcome cocktail party which took place at the fantastic Rahmi Koc Museum located at the shores of Golden Horn, hosted an international steel sculpture exhibition organized by Fundaçion Villacero. Artworks by fourteen artists from across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia were exhibited.</p>
<p>Mr.Ricardo Hugas, the founder and former chairman of IREPAS, Mr. J.Villarreal the Chairman of Grupo Villacero, Mr. Andre Johannpeter the CEO of Gerdau Ameristeel, and Mr. Hilal Al-Tuwairqi the Chairman of Al-Tuwairqi Steel addressed the 520 participants of the conference at the beginning of the first session of the conference, following the IREPAS Chairman Mr Ugur Dalbeler&#8217;s opening remarks.</p>

<p>The fee structure of the 58th meeting is as follows:</p>
<p>For early registrations until February 15th, 2008;</p>

<li>EURO 725,- for 1 participant ;</li>
<li>EURO 650,- for 2-4 participants ;</li>
<li>EURO 585,- for 5 and more participants from a single company.</li>
</ul>
<p>From February 15th onwards the registration fee will be</p>

<li>EURO 795,- for 2-4 participants ;</li>
<li>EURO 715,- for 5 and more participants from a single company.</li>

<p>As announced before, for the first time ever the event will host an <strong><em>international steel sculpture exhibition</em></strong> which will provide an elegant and interesting atmosphere for networking. Artworks by fourteen artists from across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. Each of these artists, who have chosen sculpture as their primary visual language, offers his or her own unique and individual perspective through the use of steel as a medium of creative expression. <em><strong>Grupo Villacero</strong></em> is taking the lead in organizing and supporting these steel sculpture exhibitions, which have now practically become a tradition following the success of the initial events showcasing Latin American artists during the ILAFA meetings in South America.</p>
