			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod (wire rod) from South Korea between May 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024.</p>
<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has preliminarily found that POSCO and POSCO International Corporation (PIC) (collectively, POSCO), sold subject merchandise in the US at prices below normal value during the period of review. The DOC has preliminarily determined an estimated weighted-average dumping margin of 0.51 percent for POSCO/POSCO International Corporation.</p>
<p>The final results of the review are expected to be announced within 120 days of the publication of the preliminary results.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and alloy steel wire rod imports from South Korea for the period between May 1, 2022, and April 20, 2023.</p>
<p>During the given period, some South Korean producers were found to have made sales of the given products at less than normal value. The DOC has calculated a weighted-average dumping margin of 0.85 percent for POSCO/POSCO International Corporation.</p>
<p>According to the preliminary results, the weighted-average dumping margin had been determined at 1.03 percent for the given companies.</p>

<p>During the review period from May 1, 2020, to April 30, 2021, South Korean steel producer POSCO was found to have not made sales of the given products at less than normal value. Accordingly, the DOC has calculated a weighted-average dumping margin of zero for the company. The preliminary antidumping duty for the country is applicable from June 2.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and alloy steel wire rod imported from South Korean steel producer POSCO for the period between October 31, 2017 and April 30, 2019.</p>
<p>Accordingly, the US DOC has determined that POSCO’s sales of the subject goods were made below normal value during the period of review and calculated weighted average dumping margins of 0.94 percent, down by more than 40 percentage points compared to the rate of 41.10 percent in 2018.</p>

If the ITC makes negative final determinations of injury, the investigations will be terminated and no orders will be issued. The ITC is expected to announce its decision on May 3.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (US DOC) has announced that it has amended the preliminary antidumping duty decision regarding the antidumping investigation on imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Italy, South Korea, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom, upon a complaint lodged by US-based companies Gerdau Ameristeel US Inc., Keystone Consolidated Industries, Inc., and Charter Steel, alleging that the US DOC made a significant ministerial error in the preliminary determination.</p>
<p>According to the amended decision, the US DOC recalculated a preliminary antidumping duty rate of 40.80 percent for South Korean steelmaker POSCO and all other exporters from South Korea, compared to the previous preliminary antidumping duty rate of 10.09 percent for POSCO and all other exporters from the country as announced in October this year.</p>
<p>The products in question currently fall under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) 7213.91.3011, 7213.91.3015, 7213.91.3020, 7213.91.3093, 7213.91.4500, 7213.91.6000, 7213.99.0030, 7227.20.0030, 7227.20.0080, 7227.90.6010, 7227.90.6020, 7227.90.6030 and 7227.90.6035.</p>
