			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced that it has revised the final dumping and subsidy margins and cash deposit rates imposed on reinforcing bar imports from Turkey based on affirmative final determinations by the DOC and the US International Trade Administration (ITC).</p>
<p>The DOC stated that it is amending its affirmative final determination for Turkey to correct ministerial errors. Accordingly, the new final dumping margins range between 5.39 percent and 9.06 percent, while the new final subsidy margin stands at 15.99 percent and the cash deposit rates ranges between 5.25 percent and 8.89 percent.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the DOC has decided to keep the current final dumping margins of 206.43 percent and 209.46 percent for the same imports from Japan.</p>
<p>Final margins for reinforcing bar imports from Turkey and Japan are as follows:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The US Department of Commerce (US DOC) has announced its final determinations in the antidumping (AD) duty investigation of rebar imports from Japan and Turkey and also its final determination in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of imports of rebar from Turkey.</p>
<p>Accordingly, the US DOC has calculated final dumping margins ranging from 5.39 percent and 209.46 percent for the two countries in question. Meanwhile, the final subsidy margin for Turkish producer Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.S. (HABAS) stands at 16.21 percent.</p>

<p>The cash deposit rates for Turkey, which will be collected until the final duty order of the US DOC, are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>HABAS : 5.18 percent</li>
<li>ICDAS : 8.00 percent</li>
<li>All Others : 6.77 percent</li>
</ul>
<p>The US International Trade Commission (ITC) is scheduled to announce its final determinations on or about June 29 this year for Turkey and Japan. If the ITC makes affirmative final determinations that imports of rebar from Turkey and Japan materially injure, or threaten material injury to, the domestic industry, the DOC will issue AD and CVD orders.</p>
<p>The products in question currently fall under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) 7213.10.0000, 7214.20.0000 and 7228.30.8010. The subject goods may also enter under other HTSUS numbers including 7215.90.1000, 7215.90.5000, 7221.00.0017, 7221.00.0018, 7221.00.0030, 7221.00.0045, 7222.11.0001, 7222.11.0057, 7222.11.0059, 7222.30.0001, 7227.20.0080, 7227.90.6030, 7227.90.6035, 7227.90.6040, 7228.20.1000 and 7228.60.6000.</p>

<li>Kyoei Steel Ltd. : 209.46%</li>
<li>All Others : 209.46%</li>
</ul>

<li>Power Steel Co. : 3.48%</li>
<li>Lo-Toun Steel and Iron Works : 29.47%</li>
<li>All Others : 5.49%</li>
</ul>
<p>Turkey</p>

<p>The petitioners in the investigation are the Rebar Trade Action Coalition and its individual members: Byer Steel Group, Inc., Commercial Metals Company, Gerdau Long Steel North America, Nucor, and Steel Dynamics, Inc.</p>
<p>The DOC is scheduled to announce its final determinations on or about May 16, 2017, for Japan and Turkey, and July 6, 2017, for Taiwan. The ITC is scheduled to make its final injury determinations in June 2017 for Japan and Turkey, and in August 2017 for Taiwan.</p>
