Kim Marti is named as Chairman of IREPAS

Kim Marti, Commercial Director of Celsa International, is named as the Chairman of IREPAS on the first day of the 69th IREPAS Meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.  Marti replaces Ugur Dalbeler, CEO of Colakoglu Metalurji A.S., who has been Chairman of IREPAS since 2003. Istanbul meeting was a huge success: 520 attended

Future is difficult to predict

During the 49th Irepas meeting traders have stated that future is difficult to predict. However, a stable environment is expected where in one hand prices of HBI, DRI, scrap, coke are showing a rising trend but on the other hand customers are reluctant to accept price increases on products. Despite difficulties in the market, traders are having the understanding that an increase in international prices is required.  Read More
